The biting basket

Ronan saw an old photo of himself chewing on a basket.  He promptly climbed inside to see if he still fit.  It was quite a squeeze, but Orion caught the idea and decided to climb inside and bite the basket too.  It is a well bitten basket!  Below in basket: Ronan big, Ronan small, Orion, Orion.

Orion
Orion is speaking in sentences now!  Uh oh ball, Hi dada, Bye-bye Mark, Ni-Ni yeow (night night cat).  One we hear a lot is "hot owl" but its meaning is elusive.  It's apparently not "hot, ow", or "hat owl."

His vocabulary is growing by leaps and bounds, even if it's not always something we can understand.  Some we've figured out:  ish = fish, gagach = fire truck, eesh = quiche, aΓ±a = lasagna, dado = cracker, avo = avocado.  A surprising (unsurprising if you know O) number seem to deal with food.

Ronan
Ronan has now learned my entire high school choir's repertoire of rounds from that one a cappella winter concert... if only my choir teacher knew the longevity of those sessions.  Ro can do some of them as rounds, and some nights when I do double bedtime we "sing Orion to sleep" (or keep him awake longer).

Quotes:
R: I have located the projectile (spoken offhand, as if that were a totally normally way to come across a dart in the sink).

R: your mother was a hamster and your father smells of elderberries!  (The Monty Python clips have begun...)
